On October 25 & 26, 2008, Gordon Nelson (Artistic Director) conducted the choir in a toe-tappin' celebration of American music. The program included classics of composers Randall Thompson, Leonard Bernstein and Irving Berlin as well as patriotic favorites and soul-stirring spirituals that have earned the DCC top international honors!
“America Sings” was held at Community of Christ Church in Troy and again on Sunday at First English Lutheran Church in Grosse Pointe Woods.
